  • Pain or burning when you pee

  • Only being able to pee out small amounts of urine at a time

  • Bad smelling

If you have symptoms such as a fever, chills, or nausea, it might be a more serious infection, such as a kidney infection, so call your doctor right away.

A UTI during pregnancy is concerning. If you have symptoms, see your doctor ASAP. During your prenatal checkups, you’ll regularly get a urine test to check for a UTI.
